Dr. František Folber is a hematologist specializing in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy. He serves as Head of the Transplant Unit and the Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Program at the Department of Internal Hematology and Oncology of the University Hospital Brno. His clinical and academic work also includes apheresis, acute lymphoblastic leukemia, flow cytometry, and medical education of students. He is the author and co-author of national guidelines for the management of acute lymphoblastic leukemia, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and CAR-T cell therapy. Dr. Folber is a member of the Czech Leukemia Study Group – for Life (CELL) and a full member of the Transplantation Section of the Czech Society of Hematology. He serves as Vice-Chair of the Czech Society for Gene and Cell Therapy and is currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Czech Lymphoma Study Group.
