Dr. Magdalena Zikmundová is a hematologist at the First Department of Internal Medicine of the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and the General University Hospital in Prague, where she specializes in the treatment of patients with non-Hodgkin lymphomas and serves as Head of the Molecular Biology Laboratory. At the Institute of Pathological Physiology, First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, she leads a research group focused primarily on central nervous system involvement in lymphomas. She is principal investigator and co-investigator of several grant-funded translational research projects in non-Hodgkin lymphomas and is also involved in postgraduate training of students. She completed a one-year research fellowship at Roche/Genentech (2016–2017) and a six-month fellowship at Stanford University (2024–2025). Between 2018 and 2023, she worked in the pharmaceutical industry at MorphoSys and Tubulis, where she participated in the development of Phase I–III clinical trials for patients with lymphomas. In 2026, she became a member of the Executive Committee of the Czech Lymphoma Study Group.
