Dr. Vít Campr is a pathologist whose work focuses on hematopathology in addition to routine biopsy diagnostics and postgraduate medical education. His professional activities include diagnostic practice, consultations, research, publications, and lecturing in the field of hematopathology. He has contributed chapters to several monographs and national pathology textbooks. In 2007, together with Dr. Petra Kačírková, he co-authored the Hemato-Oncological Atlas of Blood and Bone Marrow, which was awarded the Prize of the Czech Hematology Society. Since 1999, he has been a member of the Czech Lymphoma Study Group, where he has served for many consecutive terms on the Executive Committee as the representative for pathologists. He is also a member of the Czech MDS Group and CZEMP (Czech Group for Ph-negative Myeloproliferative Disorders), and serves as the national reference pathologist for the EWOG-MDS/SAA.
